Biography: John A. Nischwitz, 82, of Littlestown, died Wed., May 9, 2024 at his home.   He was the husband of Lucille C. (Rivera) Nischwitz.  Born April 9, 1942 in North Plainfield, NJ, John was the son of the late Robert & Mary (Blew) Nischwitz.  He was a 1960 North Plainfield High School graduate and Lehigh University grad with an Engineering degree.  He was employed with EBL Engineering of Parkville, MD  as a Structural Engineer.  

Surviving in addition to his wife, are his children, Craig Jennings and Laura Smetanick; his grandchildren, Richard K., Jr., Blake M. and Chase M. Michael; his great granchildren, Greyson, Colt and Jan Michael; and his sister, Roberta McKinnon of Ocean City, NJ.  John attended Christ Church of Littlestown and was a member of Engineering associations.  He had great family relationships with his children.  He loved animals, enjoyed reading, classical music and opera.

Memorial Service will be Friday, July 19, at 11 A.M. at Christ Church with The Rev. Garry Sheaffer officiating.
