He was a 1975 Westminster High School graduate. Tom worked at a cabinet shop in Union Bridge for Milton Amey in the mid '70's building high-end cabinets until his parents had some health issues. He then came home to help on the farm. Tom's dad had a sawmill which Tom took over and expanded the business. He was a very competitive Drag racer and won many trophies. He went on different NASCAR trips. He was a huge Dale Earnhart fan. Early on Tom enjoyed Carlisle Flea Markets and Steamshows. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles and took trips out west and to New York with special friends and family. Tom enjoyed going to Bike week in Daytona Beach. He took trips to Las Vegas with special friends. He was a very skilled mechanic, fabricator and knowledgeable on anything. He was a logger and farmer. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or share his knowledge. The list goes on and on. Tom was a member of Covenant Life Church of Hanover and a life member of Littlestown F.O.E.
Tom loved life, people and laughter. When he laughed, you were laughing also. If you were meeting him for the first time, it was like you knew him all your life. Tom had a huge heart. Life will never be the same without Tom Edwards. Everyone misses him and loves him, especially his soul mate.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan 4, from 4- 7 P.M. at Bethel Assembly of God, 1125 Frederick Pike, Littlestown.
