Biography:

Francis (Frank) Xavier Hevey of Hanover,  died Friday October 27, 2023 at Homewood at Plum Creek. Born April 2, 1933 in Baltimore, Frank was the son of the late Edmund Joseph & Marie Anna (Smith) Hevey. He was the husband of 67 years of Betty Ann (Robertson) Hevey who predeceased him.

After graduation from Calvert Hall High School in Baltimore in 1951, he served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean War. He was an officer in the Optimist Club of Maryland and worked as a District Manager at C&P Telephone Company for over 30 years. Frank was a singer and choir director at Roman Catholic Churches.

Surviving are his son and daughter in-law John S. & Jean G. Hevey, daughter and son in-law Sally A. & Wess Breeden, son William A. Hevey and daughter Mary Griffin. Grandchildren: Stacey Caprinolo, Christina Armstrong, Nicholas Caprinolo, David Hevey, Julie Snyder David Shamer, William Hevey and his nine great grandchildren.

Funeral Service is Thursday November 2, 2023 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Alberto Barattero Celebrant. Interment will be in New St. Joseph's Cemetery, S. Seton Ave., Emmitsburg, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Frank's honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Online condolences may be shares on www.littlesfh.com.

I'm so sorry for your loss! I miss Frank and Betty so much, they were great neighbors to my mom. I loved them like I love my own grandparents! Frank will be greatly missed by so many!

Every once in a while, God shares one of his special people with the rest of us. Frank was one of those. We were so blessed to call him family. Now he is singing with the other angels.
