Biography: Irene K. Wildasin, 87, formerly of Littlestown, died Thursday, October 26, 2023, at SpiriTrust Lutheran Utz Terrace, Hanover. She was the wife of Harry J. Wildasin who died April 4, 2018. Born November 2, 1935 in Littlestown, she was the daughter of the late Merle H. and Dorothy (Keefer) Koontz. Irene was a Littlestown High School and Shippensburg College graduate. She was a teacher at Southwestern High School for 31 years.
Irene is survived by her son, Mark E. Wildasin, of Hanover; a niece, Barbara Greason, of Littlestown and special friends, Mary Fostik and Grace Brewer, both of Hanover. She was predeceased by her sister, Dolores Reaver. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Littlestown where she was very active in church activities. She volunteered for 19 years at Hanover Hospital. Irene loved doing crafts, gardening and keeping her yard immaculate.
There will be a Graveside Service Wednesday, November 1, at 11 A.M. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with The Rev. Richard Michael officiating. Contributions have been asked to go to her church at 53 W. King St., Littlestown PA. 17340. Online Condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.
