I had the pleasure of meeting Jim when he worked at the Adams County Courthouse. He would come to our building to help me with our computers. I got to know him over the years and enjoyed talking and joking with him. He was a nice guy. I kept in touch with him through Facebook after he left the county. He tried so hard to stay positive despite his diagnosis. The last I messaged him, he told me he was on hospice but it didn't mean he was dying. He fought hard to very end. He will not be forgotten. May he rest in peace and condolences to his mother and sister.

Jim was a friend from the Apple Core Band and Littlestown Area Municipal Band - well, we also played in the Gettysburg Symphony Band together as well. For the short time I knew Jim, we had wonderful talks about life, pets and music. I truly cherished our time together and will miss him. I know his presence in our bands is also missed. Rest in peace, my friend. Now you are pain free and we truly expect to hear that trumpet playing from the heavens!
