Biography: Audrey L. Myers, 92, of Gettysburg died Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Wellspan Gettysburg. She was the wife of Lee A. Myers of Gettysburg for 72 years. Born August 13, 1931 in Hedgesville, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John H. and Nellie Orr Franklin. Audrey was a homemaker and in her early years worked at Bupp's Diner in Gettysburg and the Silk Mill.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughters, Bonnie Van Dyke and Doug of Hanover, Jeanne Groft and Jeff of Hanover and Nancy Stehman and Jim of New Cumberland; her four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and  two great great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Thelma Franklin and Ruth Neiderer and brothers Howard, Harold and Vernon Franklin.

Audrey was a member of Gettysburg Foursquare Church where she played the piano for the children's services.  She loved baby sitting, visiting Williamsburg, the beach and shopping at her favorite stores, T.J. Maxx and Boscovs. Audrey and Lee visited every state but Alaska.

Funeral service is Thursday, October 5, at 11 A.M. at Little's Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Mummert officiating. There will be a viewing from 10-11 Thursday at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.
