Biography:

George E. Clabaugh, Sr., 89, of Littlestown, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023, at his home. He was the husband of Gloria J. (Sentz) Clabaugh to whom he was married 44 years.   Born July 30, 1933 in Ladiesburg, MD, he was the son of the late Reese E. Clabaugh and Mary E. (Keeney) Clabaugh Hahn Myers and the step son of Louis Hahn and Raymond Myers.

George was a retired Master Sergeant with over 20 years of service with the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War.  He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Littlestown and a life member of Harney VFW.  George enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to auctions, country music, baseball, cards, billiards and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife,  George is survived by three children: Linda F. Harman of Keymar, MD, Vickie L. Triplett of Littlestown and George E. Clabaugh, Jr. of Hanover; his 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren; two sisters: Mary E. Kline of Walkersville, MD and Eleanor "Sis" Winpigler of Frederick, MD.  He was preceded in death by two daughters: Betty Jean Meise and Debra Ann Reed; a granddaughter, Amy Ott, half-brother, Leroy Clabaugh; half-sister, Eileen Clabaugh and his first wife, E. Faye (Buntion) Clabaugh.

Funeral Service is  Monday, July 3, at 11 A.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown with Mr. David Wolf officiating.  Viewing is Sunday from 2 - 4 P.M. and 6 - 8 P.M. at the funeral  home.  Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg with full military honors conducted.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.

George was an amazing Man he was friends with my Dad for a very long time.He was so kind and funny.His kids were so friendly and I used to babysit for Betty and Mom babysat for Debbie. But I want to send my condolences to his family May h George RIP
