William R. F. Sipes Sr., 81 of Littlestown and formerly of New Windsor, MD. died Sat February 1 at his home. He was the husband of Addie Lee Sipes who died May 9, 2011. Born January 25, 1933 in Washington D.C., he was the son of the late Roy N. and Alice L. Doore Sipes. William was a high school graduate and was a tool and dye machinist. He also drove truck for Lehigh Cement and was a security guard at McDaniel College in Westminster. William is survived by a daughter Laurie Ann Sipes of St. Louis, Missouri and a son James F. Sipes and wife Teresa Ann of Westminster. 2 granddaughters, Heather and Melissa Sipes. 5 great grandchildren, a daughter in law Sherry Sipes of Westminster and an Aunt, Joan Sipes of Gettysburg. He was predeceased by a son, William Sipes Jr. He served in the Air Force and loved hunting and fishing. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
