William S. Harmon, Jr., 92, of Littlestown died Monday August 18 at the Hanover Hospital. Born March 24, 1922 in Moscow Mills, MD, he was the son of the late William Harmon Sr. and Flora (Myers) Harmon. Bill was a high school graduate and served in the Army during WWII. He was a carpenter with the family business, Harmon Brothers Home Builders. Bill is survived by a brother, Raymond Harmon, a sister, Betty Lessner, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Dorothea Doss and Ida Wrightson and brothers, Elton Harmon and Leonard Harmon Sr. There will be a graveside memorial service Monday, August 25, at 3 PM at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg with the Rev. Timothy J. Kielley of New Hope Faith Community Church, Hanover, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may go the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas, 66675.
