 Walter John “Jack” Richards Jr, 64, of Murfreesboro Tn, formerly of Carroll County Md,  died Tuesday March 19 in Clayton GA as a result of injuries received in a car accident, Born in Baltimore MD, he was the son of the late Walter John and Sara Elizabeth Richards Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sarah Dominici Richards and a brother in law, John Brauning. Mr Richards is survived by his son Nathan Richards of Murfreesboro TN, a sister Karen Chronister and husband Lee of Hanover, nephews Kegan Brauning and wife Michele and children Garrett and Josephine of Littlestown and Jeremy Brauning and wife Petra and daughter Sierra of Hanover  and numerous cousins and other loving family. Jack was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School in Emmittsburg MD and received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 1971. Jack began his 41 year engineering career in Finksburg with Rowan Controller which became Gould which became Telemecanique and now the current Schneider Electric where he worked in Seneca SC before moving to Murfreesboro. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday March 26 at 11 AM at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown with The Rev James M Sterner Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro and local arragements are by Little’s Funeral Home.
