Shirley J. Ferrebee Obituary

Shirley J. Ferrebee, 64, of Littlestown, died Thurs, July 9, at the Gettysburg Hospital.  She was the wife of Robert E. Ferrebee for 45 years.  Born Jan. 23, 1951 in Gardners, she was the daughter of the late Grant E. & Hazel R. (Smith) Toner.  Shirley was a homemaker.   Surviving in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Tina Meckley  & husband, Alan of Hanover; a son, Jason Ferrebee & wife, Kelly of East Berlin; 3 grandchildren:  Micayla & Austin Meckley and Brodie Ferrebee; 2 step grandchildren:  Hannah & Tyler Chenault; a sister, Cindy Groh & husband, George of Gettysburg and 2 brothers:  Gerald & Randy Toner.  Shirley was predeceased by 2 sisters:  Janet Hollinger and Patricia Ferrebee and 3 brothers:  Donald, Kenneth & Barry Toner.  Shirley especially loved her grandchildren and loved to bake and give away her goodies.  She was an organ donor.   Memorial Service is Monday, July 13 at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. Timothy Kielley officiating.  There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends 10-11 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.  Interment at a later date will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover.  Memorials in Shirley’s name may be made to her husband at 39 Georgetown Rd., Littlestown, PA  17340 to help defray Shirley’s medical expenses.  The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses & staff at Wellspan Gettysburg for all their excellent care.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com
