Sharon Ann Fowler Obituary

Sharon Ann Fowler, 74, of Littlestown, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 at home.  She was the loving wife of Michael Stuart Fowler, Littlestown.  Together they shared 54 years of marriage.

Born July 12, 1950 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Gloria (Eliff) Taeuber.

Sharon earned a Bachelor of Science in Bible with a minor in Social Work from the Philadelphia College of Bible (now Cairn University).  She interned at the University of Penn Hospital as the first undergraduate permitted in their medical social work program.

Sharon was a Christian who worshipped in the Reformed tradition.  She and Michael had been members of Valley Presbyterian Church in Timonium-Lutherville for almost 50 years before recently moving to Providence Presbyterian Church in York, PA.

Sharon worked as a medical assistant performing both front desk and back room assistant duties.

Sharon also worked as a substitute teacher in the Harford County, Maryland Public schools. Although she had a variety of assignments, she enjoyed most the teaching of music.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Timothy Fowler and wife Carrie, Williamsport, MD, Jonathan Fowler and wife Ann, West Chester, PA. and her two grandchildren Michael and Kara Fowler, Williamsport, MD.

A memorial service will be held at 1Pm on February 8, 2025 at the Providence Presbyterian Church, York, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Symphony in C, Camden, NJ.
