Sandra L. Bowers, 69, of Littlestown, died early Sun. A.M., May 10, at her home. She was wife of William E. “Bill” Bowers who died Sept 17, 2007. Born March 27, 1946 in Gettysburg, Sandy was the daughter of the late Elwood & Rita (Weaver) Albin. She was a 1964 Littlestown High School graduate and was a self-employed Beautician. She also helped with preschool at Faith U.C.C., Littlestown and was also employed with Bon-Worth at the Gettysburg Outlets. Surviving are 2 daughters: Tonia R. Reichart & husband, James R and Tara L. Staub, all of Littlestown; 6 grandchildren: Luke Reichart & wife, Carley, Lauren Reichart & fiance, Ben Killeen, Alyssa Reichart and Emily, Brayden & Eliana Staub; a great grandson, Gavin Reichart; a brother, Elwood D. “Elgie” Albin, II of Littlestown; special family friends: Nance Serio and her daughters: Ashlee Hawkins and Tori Houseman and her special companion, “Maggie.” Sandy was predeceased by her son, Vince W. Bowers, her sister, Dolores Badders and her brother, Bruce Albin. She was a member of Piney Creek Church of the Brethren, Taneytown and both Littlestown FOE & VFW Aux.’s. Memorial Service is Saturday, May 16, at 11 A.M. at her church with The Rev. Stan T. Diehl officiating. There will be no Viewing; however, the family will receive friends Friday 2 –4 and 6 – 8 P.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown. Inurnment is in Piney Creek Cemetery, Taneytown.
