Romaine C. Croft, 87 of Hanover died Friday May 2 at her home. She was the wife of George E. Croft of Hanover for 71 years. Born February 1, 1927 in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late Irvin W. and Esta Mae Bankert Sterner.   In addition to her husband, Romaine is survived by a daughter, Georgia C. Blakeslee and husband Wesley of Westminster. Grandchildren Jaime, Christopher and Shaun and great grandchildren, Scott, Declan and Clare and a sister Delores Heltibridle of Hanover.  She was predeceased by a sister Ruth Shorb.   Romaine was owner operator of Modern Beauty Bar in Westminster. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God, Littlestown. Romaine loved gardening, flowers, painting, playing the piano and organ and being with family and friends.   Funeral Service is Tuesday May 6 at 11 AM at Bethel Assembly of God, Littlestown with Rev. Garry L. Sheaffer officiating. There will be no viewing however family will receive friends 10-11 Tues at the Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Silver Run.
