Robert S. "Bob" Whitmore, 77, of Westminster, died late Saturday evening, Oct 6, at his home. He was the husband of Sandra (Card) Whitmore for 33 years. Born Sept 24, 1935 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Sterling & Mabel (Hawk) Whitmore. Bob was a 1954 Westminster High School graduate. He was a Draftsman for Dutterer's Mill Work, Hanover for 25 years and retired from F.M.S., Westminster in 1993 after 13 years of service.   In addition to his wife, Sandy, Bob is survived by a daughter, Dawn M. Sechler and husband, Brad, of Derby, KS; a son, Phillip J. Whitmore of Hanover; daughter-in-law, Amy Whitmore; 2 stepsons: Edward E. Edmonds of Littlestown and Floyd H. Flowers of Glen Burnie; a granddaughter, Karley; 3 step grandchildren: Justin, Lexy and Taylor and a step great granddaughter. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Robert Whitmore. Bob was a member of Kirkridge Presbyterian Church, Manchester and a founding member of Carroll County Horse Circuit. He was an avid horseman and enjoyed woodworking. Bob was a big Ravens fan and also enjoyed watching NASCAR.   Funeral Service is Thursday, Oct 11, at 11 A.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown with his pastor, The Rev. James F. Wittke officiating. Viewing is Wednesday 6 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment is in Grace U.C.C. Cemetery, Taneytown. Pallbearers will be Phil Whitmore, Ed "Corky" Edmonds, Brad Sechler, Larry Hawk, John Snoke and Perry Grove. Memorials in Bob's name may be sent to his church at 2236 Old Fort Schoolhouse Rd., Manchester, MD 21102
