Robert H. Kelley, Sr. Obituary

Robert H. Kelley Sr., 78, of Littlestown died early Tuesday, Sept 29,  at the Hanover Hospital. He was the husband of Shirley L. (Bowers) Kelley who died May 4, 2003. Born September 22, 1937 in Gettysburg, he was the son of Ruth (Plank) Kelley of Gettysburg and the late Cecil Kelley. He attended Gettysburg High School and served in the Army Reserves. Robert retired from Schindler Elevator of Gettysburg in 2003.   In addition to his mother, Robert is survived by his son Robert H. Kelley Jr. and wife Deanna of Littlestown. Daughters Lorie A. Bangs and Phillip Miller and Linda A. Shanebroook and husband James, all of Littlestown. Eight grandchildren and Five great grandchildren. Brothers Steve, Glen and Richard Kelley, all of Gettysburg,  a sister Nancy Reichart of Littlestown and companion Mariam Bange of Hanover. Robert was predeceased by his brother Roger Kelley. Robert liked working on lawnmowers and hanging around Staub Brothers Salvage Yard and being with family.   Funeral service is Friday October 2 at 11 AM at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with Deacon Darrell Smith officiating. Viewing is Friday 10 – 11 A.M. at the funeral home.  Interment is in St Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Littlestown.
