Rita C. Adams, 87, of Hanover, died early Sunday, Nov. 30, at Mercy Center Nursing Unit, Dallas, PA. She was the wife of William E. Adams who died Aug. 3, 2012. Born May 23, 1927 in Cambria County, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Mary Olive (Miller) Hollen. Rita was a high school graduate and worked in various factories in Littlestown. Rita is survived by her daughter Margaret M. Hilker and husband James of Hanover; 4 grandchildren: James Hilker Jr., Kimberly Connelly, Christopher Hilker and Colby Hilker and 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers Charles E Hollen Jr. of Ashville, PA and Joseph Hollen of Mechanicsburg; 7 Sisters, Mildred Boltizar of Sun City, AZ; Grace Miller of Hastings PA., Viola Mazur of Cresson, PA., Mary O. Cheverchko of Ashville, PA., Sister Ruth Hollen of Dallas, PA; Ethel Audie of Westlake Ohio and Ella Detrich of Cleveland, OH. Rita was predeceased by a sister Agnes Wyland. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown. Memorial Mass is Thurs., Dec 4, at 11 A.M. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown with the Rev. James M. Sterner Celebrant. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Monicas Church Cemetery, Chest Springs, PA.
