Patricia B. (Bernardo) Carmody Obituary

Patricia B. Carmody, 72, of Littlestown, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at home, surrounded by her family.  She was the loving wife of David L. Carmody, Littlestown; together they shared 43 years of marriage.


Born September 2, 1953 in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Guy and Marie (Ciaccia) Bernardo.


Patricia received her B.A. and Master’s Degrees from Catholic University and was a vocal music teacher and honors course director with schools in Prince Georges County, MD for 33 years. She enjoyed travelling, walks on the beach, the arts, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.


In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Laurie Green (Christopher), Sykesville, MD; son, Christopher Carmody (Christine), Frederick, MD; brothers, Thomas Bernardo, Miami, FL and Robert Bernardo, Santa Clarita, CA and grandchildren, Hannah, Mark, Sarah, Madeleine and Charlie.


A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
