Naomi R. Bowersox, 99, died Sat., Apr 27, at Hanover Hall. She was the wife of the late Harvey J. Bowersox who died June 1, 2011 at the age of 100 years. They were blessed with 75 yrs of marriage. Born Aug 20, 1913 in Carroll County, Noami was the daughter of the late Ervin L. & Carrie A. (Wine) Kreitzer. Naomi is survived by two sons, Allen H. Bowersox of Hanover and Donald C. Bowersox & wife, Angela, of Pleasant Valley, MD; three grandchildren, Jay Bowersox & wife, Helen, of Hanover; Wendy Bowersox and Susan Bowersox Blizzard, both of Pleasant Valley and five great grandchildren: Tanner and Linsey Bowersox and Taylor, Kaitlin and Jordan Blizzard. Naomi was predeceased by three sisters: Miriam Jones, Hilda Black, Ruth McIlwee and a brother, Clyde E. Kreitzer. Naomi was an active member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church, Silver Run and a member of Penn Twp Lioness Club. She worked many years at Hanover Manufacturing as a seamstress. Funeral Service is Wed., May 1, at 11 A.M. at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church, Silver Run with the Rev. Dr. H. Lee Brumback, II officiating. Viewing is Tues 6 – 8 P.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown. Interment is in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Silver Run.
