Muriel M. (Stiles) Duttera Obituary

Muriel M. Duttera, 87, of Hanover, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at UPMC, Hanover.  She was the loving wife of Laverne Duttera who passed away November 20, 2019.


Born January 29, 1938 in Watchung, NJ, she was the daughter of the late James and Mildred (Naylor) Stiles.


Muriel was a nurse with Dr. Tananis, McSherrystown for many years and had a ceramic shop, Dutty’s Ceramics.  She was a member of Christ Church, Littlestown.


She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Severt (David), Hanover, Sandy Klunk (Tom), Hanover and Deb Knight (Joe), Littlestown; grandchildren, Andy, Tasha, Sean, Elijah, Katrina, Mariah and Whitney and great grandchildren, Hailey, Leah, Baiden, Skylie, Amelia, Lilly, Elizabeth, Connor, Adam and Sophia.


She was preceded in death by her sister, Rhoda Stiles and brother, James Stiles, Jr.


A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 10 AM at Little’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 34 Maple Ave., Littlestown with Pastor Shane Fritz officiating.  A graveside service, family only, to follow at 11 AM in Christ Church Cemetery, Littlestown.
