Mary Jo Crawford, 91 of Glenville passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 5, 2026.


Born January 5, 1935 in Piney Flats, TN, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Florence A. (Daniels) Osborne.


Mary Jo worked for 32 years at Black & Decker in Hampstead, MD, and then for 10 years at the Cross Keys Village Brethren Home in New Oxford, PA as a Licensed Practical Nurse.


She is survived by her son, Douglas G. Crawford of Glenville; two grandchildren: Michael Paul McClain of Glenville, Allie Jo McClain (Adam Franco) of Hanover; one great-granddaughter, Hayley Grace Franco of Hanover; one brother: Robert Gary Osborne; three sisters: Martha Jane Miller, W. Katherine Buck and Debra L. Heyne  and one sister-in-law, Josephine Diehl (Bob).


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children: Anthony Fred “Tony” Crawford and Sonia Ann “Sonny” (Crawford) McClain; two brothers: Charles Randolph “Randy” Osborne and John Daniel “Dan” Osborne; her in-laws: Edna Patterson (Robert), Gladys Crawford (Jake), Dorothy Keating and Geraldine Matthews (Norm).


Mary Jo’s life will be celebrated in private by her family.
