Mabel L. Krebs, 91, formerly of Littlestown and Hanover, died Thursday A.M., Jan. 3, at Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village. She was the wife of George F. Krebs for 37 years. Born Dec. 2, 1921 in Howard County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edwin F., Sr. & Blanche (Layman) Wright. She was retired from Pantry Pride of Timonium, MD as a grocery cashier after 12 years of service. In addition to her husband, Mabel is survived by a step daughter, Peggy Foxwell of Westminster; 4 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two step daughters: Kathy Royston and Judy Hetrick. Mabel was one of 5 sisters and 4 brothers. She was affiliated with Jehovah's Witness. Mabel enjoyed feeding the birds and working in her large vegetable garden. Funeral Service is Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 11 A.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown with Ronnie P. Bailey, minister of Jehovah's Witness, Freeland, MD congregation, officiating. Viewing is Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 - 11 A.M. Interment is private in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown.
