Luther L. Foglesong, 90, of Hanover, died Tues A.M., Nov 19, at Hanover Hospital. He was the husband of Florence (Miller) Foglesong for 26 years. His first wife, Annie (Keeney) Foglesong died in 1979 and his second wife, Hazel (Stitley) Foglesong died in 1984. Born Jan 22, 1923 in Mayberry, MD, he was the son of the late Uriah A. & Mary E. (Humbert) Foglesong. Luther was retired from farming, B & D Wood Working of Union Mills, Sealed Air Corp of Hanover and Bowman’s Feed Co. of Westminster. He was an active lifelong member of Emmanuel Baust U.C.C., Westminster and a Mayberry Gun Club member. Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 sons, Luther A. Foglesong & wife Vera of Westminster; Bill Foglesong of Taneytown; daughter & husband, Sharon Shriner & Jim of Taneytown; 4 step children: John Miller & wife, Winnie, of Hanover; Robert Miller & wife, Madeline, of Virginia; Mary Ann Bixler & husband, Dave, of Abbottstown and Christine Miller of Lancaster; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and special friends: Jen Kirk and June Mummert. Luther was predeceased by grandson, Bobby Stonesifer and step son, Steven Miller. Viewing is Fri 2 - 4 and 6 – 8 P.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown. Funeral Service is Sat 10 A.M. at Baust U.C.C. with the Rev.’s Jeffry Dull & James Parke officiating. There will be no viewing in church. Interment is in the church cemetery.
