Josephine Minnie “Josie” (Lippy) Reindollar, 86, formerly of Littlestown went home to be with Jesus on Thurs, Aug 14, at Lutheran Retirement Village at Utz Terrace, Hanover. She was the widow of Wilbur “Bud” Reindollar . Born July 25, 1928 in Black’s Corner, Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late William J. & Naomi (Spangler) Lippy. Josie moved to the farm in Littlestown when she was two years old. She graduated from Littlestown High School on May 27, 1947 and went to work for Melvin J. Sheffer Farm Equipment that same month. She worked there for 34 years. Josie was also employed with George M. Zerfing’s Hardware from 1981-1993. She married Bud on March 27, 1948 and they were married 65 years. Surviving are a brother, Glenn Lippy and wife, Janet, of Littlestown; niece, Sharon Reinhart and nephew, Glenn Lippy Jr. and a special great nephew, Rourke Lippy and many beloved nieces and nephews who have added much joy and love to her life. Josie was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Snyder and a half sister, Geneva Crabbs. Josie was a volunteer much of her life. As an Utz Terrace volunteer, she welcomed new Personal Care residents, helped with their activities and served as a member of the Young at Heart Elder Wisdom Circle. Josie was also a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Littlestown. Funeral Service is Tues, Aug 19, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with her pastor, The Rev. Alex Martini and Utz Terrace Chaplain, The Rev. Nancy Werner, officiating. Viewing is 10-11 A.M. Tues at the funeral home. Interment is in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Josie’s name may be made to Utz Terrace, 2100 Utz Terrace, Hanover, 17331 for Personal Care activities or benevolence or to her church @ 53 W.
