Josephine M. Baran, 79, formerly of Silver Run, died Tuesday, May 29, at Golden Crest Assisted Living, Hampstead. She was the widow of Joseph S. Baran who died May 8, 2008. Born Oct 24, 1932 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Howard Jones. She was a High School graduate and earned an Associates Degree. She was employed with CMS, a Medicare agency, and was also employed with the Air Force and retired after 45 years with the U.S. government.   Josephine is survived by a son, Mark S. Baran, M.D., of Parkton; 4 grandchildren; a brother, Danny Jones and a sister, Agnes. Graveside Service will be Saturday at 11 A.M. at St. Mary's Cemetery, Silver Run with The Rev. H. Lee Brumback, II of St. Mary's Lutheran Church, officiating. Viewing is Saturday 10:15 - 10:45 A.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown.
