John William “Jack” Constantine, 89, formerly of Littlestown, died Fri A.M., Aug 2, at Hanover Hall Nursing Center. He was the husband of Edith Mae Constantine who died July 8, 1988. Jack was the companion of Ruth Stavely of Littlestown for 22 years. Born July 29, 1924 in Timonium, MD, he was the son of the late Howard U. & Karen Francis (Thiele) Constantine. Jack served in the army during WWII. He was retired in 1987 as a mason with Grove Brothers, Baltimore after 40 years of service. Jack was a member of Littlestown VFW and FOE and Westminster Moose. In addition to his companion Ruth, Jack is survived by a daughter, Connie Warne of Florence, SC; a granddaughter, Nicole Bollinger; 4 great grandchildren and a sister, Shirley Totts of Jacksonville, FL. Jack was predeceased by a son, Wayne Constantine; 4 brothers: Fred, Howard, Edward and Eugene Constantine and 2 sisters; Louise Moser and Betty Peddicord. A Memorial Graveside Service will be private in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills. Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown is assisting the family with arrangements.
