James A. Gardner, 47 of Spring Grove passed away peacefully at York Hospital on Thursday, May 28, 2026.  He was the beloved husband of Crystal (Host) Gardner.
Born October 22, 1978 in York, he was a son of the late Jonathan R. and Patricia A. (Leiphart) Gardner.
Mr. Gardner was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, and also enjoyed fishing, science fiction, and spending time with his beloved cat, Bobby.
In addition to his wife, James is survived by his sister, Sabrina Britcher (Jeff), his stepfather Michael Wagaman, two paternal uncles, one paternal aunt, two nieces and one nephew, as well as many loving extended family and friends.
James’ family will celebrate his life in private.
