Helena E. Fritz, 90, of Westminster, died Mon., Nov 24, at her home. She was the widow of Norman Fritz, Jr. who died in 1982. Born Nov 5, 1924 in Deep Run, she was the daughter of the late George E. & Carrie (Flickinger) Utz. Helena was a homemaker. Surviving are two sons: Brian Fritz & wife, Lisa, and Bruce Fritz & wife, Gayle; a daughter Desira Fritz, all of Westminster; 5 grandchildren: Ricky Fritz, Kimberly Reed, Greg Newman and Brittany & Shelby Fritz; three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Helena was predeceased by a son, Norman Fritz, III and a brother, Burnell Utz. She was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church, Silver Run. Helena loved children and animals. A Memorial Service is Monday, Dec 1, at 10:30 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with Pastor Bill Rumbaugh of New Hope Fellowship Church, Westminster, officiating. There will be no viewing, however, the family will receive friends 10 – 10:30 A.M. on Monday at the funeral home. Inurnment is private in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
