Hazel E. George, 77 years of age, of Hanover, passed to eternal life on September 10, 2025 at UPMC, Hanover. Hazel was the daughter of the late William and Eileen (Eagan) Kucherer.

She was the beloved wife for 58 years of Frank George, devoted mother of Kevin Michael George, Hanover and devoted grandmother of Eric Ryan George and Faith Rose George.  Hazel was the loving sister of the late Lillian Thompson, Beverly (Calvin) Cain, Charles (Cathy) Kucherer and the late Billy Kucherer. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 11:30AM at St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York St., Gettysburg with viewing after 11AM with Rev. Andrew R. Geib officiating.  Burial will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, 11501 Garrison Forest Rd., Owings Mills, MD. Relatives and friends are invited to spend time with the family at a viewing from 7 to 9 PM on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Littles Funeral Home, 34 Maple Ave., Littlestown.
