Harold G Whisler Obituary

Harold G. Whisler, 78, formerly of Littlestown, currently of Carlisle, died Thursday, Oct 11, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. Born Sept 4, 1934 in Adams County, he was the son of the late C. Glenn & Freda C. (Stultz) Whisler. He was a 1952 Littlestown High School graduate and a 1962 Gettysburg College grad. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955-'59. He retired in 1990 as a Naval Supplies Systems Analyst for the Dept of the Navy. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Littlestown.   Harold is survived by a daughter, Megan J. Crum & husband, Matthew, of Carlisle and a granddaughter, Katie Crum. Harold was predeceased by a sister, Donna (Whisler) Schultz.   Funeral Service is Tuesday, Oct 16, at 11 A.M. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Littlestown with The Rev. John G. Largen, Interim pastor at St. Luke's and Rev. Jon Black of First Presbyterian Church, Carlisle, officiating. Viewing is one hour prior to service time Tuesday at church. Interment in is Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg. Memorials in Harold's name may be sent to: St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 330 White Hall Rd., Littlestown, PA 17340.
