Harold E. Trone, 93, of Littlestown, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Columbia Cottage, Hanover.  He was the loving husband of Marianna (Catalino) Trone who passed away July 17, 2024.

Born January 9, 1932 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Maggie (Stremmel) Trone.

Harold was a skilled mason, working in the Hanover area and later retired as the sexton at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown.  He attended St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown and was a member of the Littlestown Eagles.

He is survived by his children, Sharon Pirrotta (Anthony Scafuri), Port Chester, NY, Harold E. Trone, II, Littlestown, Victor Trone (Trina), Littlestown and Christopher Trone, Hanover; sister, Nancy Swanson, Washington State; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Violet Alwine, Nora Myers, Ethel Krebs and Connie Ness and brothers, Lawrence and Weldon Trone.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 24, 2025 at 11AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Rd., Hanover with Rev. Fr. Cole Mace, Celebrant.  Inurnment will follow in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Littlestown.

Memorials in Harold’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
