G LaVerne Keilholtz Obituary

G. LaVerne Keilholtz, 85, of Littlestown, died Tues., April 2, at Gettysburg Hospital.  He was the husband of Bessie (Good) Keilholtz for almost 64 years.  Born March 30, 1928 in Keysville, MD, LaVerne was the son of the late Grier & Carrie (Newcomer) Kielholtz.  He was a lifelong farmer and retired from Random House, Inc. of Westminster in 1990 after 21 years of service.    In addition to his wife, LaVerne is survived by two daughters:  Shirley L. Krieger & husband, Brian L. of Reisterstown; Barbara J. Keilholtz of Hanover; three sons:  Richard F. Keilholtz & wife Jane C., Robert L. Keilholtz & wife Barbara A., all of Taneytown and David E. Keilholtz & wife Lisa A. of Littlestown; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  LaVerne was predeceased by a sister, Roseanna Dinterman.  He was a member of Christ U.C.C., Littlestown and Random House Retirees Assoc.   Funeral Service is Friday, April 5, at 10 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with his pastor, The Rev. Craig E. Arentz, officiating.  Viewing is Thurs 6 – 8 P.M. at the funeral home.  Interment is in Keysville Union Cemetery, Keysville.  Memorials in LaVerne’s name may be sent to his church on 131 Christ Church Rd., Littlestown, PA  17340 or Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Rd., Gettysburg, PA P 17325.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.
