Evelyn (Pavlik) Ozminski Duttera, 90, of Littlestown died Thurs, Oct 30, at her home. She was the widow of Albert Ozminski and John Duttera, Sr. Born July 17, 1924 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Walter & Tillie (Sobus) Pavlik. Evelyn was employed with Mongomery Wards as their switchboard operator in Baltimore City; was a dairy farmer with her husband,Albert, in Gettysburg; was employed with Bowman’s grocery store in Littlestown; a Stanley Home representative; Sheridan Inn employee in Gettysburg and was retired from Littlestown Area School District Cafeteria. Surviving are 9 children and their spouses: Mary Ellen Good & Charles “Ed” of Hanover; Allen Ozminski & Debra, of Littlestown; Bonnie Wastler & Dennis of Littlestown; Patrick Ozminski & Jill of Littlestown; Jerry Ozminski & Audrey of Hanover; Jim Ozminski, Mike Ozminski, Dave Ozminski, all of Littlestown and Andy Ozminski of Hanover; step son: John Duttera, Jr. & Joyce of Littlestown; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; Duttera step grandchildren; brother, George Pavlik of Pasadena, MD and sister, Virginia Williams of Glen Bernie, MD; nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by brothers: John & Walter Pavlik, Jr. ; sister Christina Pavlik ; stepchildren: Tom Duttera and Nancy Breighner. Evelyn was an active member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, VFW Ladies Aux., Alpha Fire Co., GFWC Women’s Community Club, FOE Women’s Aux., Council of Catholic Women, all of Littlestown; Catholic War Veteran’s Aux., Bonneauville, Adams County Democratic Party, Adams County Voter Hall of Fame, Delone School Board Director, Hanover Area Council of Churches Provide-A-Lunch Program and Gettysburg Hospital Aux. Evelyn loved her time with her families, reading, sports, picnics, bird watching, sitting on her back porch and viewing photos of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her enthusiasm for the arts began as a child singing and dancing at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore. She was known for her pound cakes. Evelyn enjoyed her service clubs and her friends. Mass of Christian Burial is Monday at 11 A.M. at her church with The Rev. James M. Sterner Celebrant. Viewing is Sunday 6 – 8 P.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown. Interment is in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to one of Evelyn’s service organizations or one’s favorite charity in Evelyn’s name.
