Eugene A. Schafferman, 84, formerly of Littlestown, died Tues A.M., Sept 18, at Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville. He was the widower of Gloria (Blottenburger) Schafferman. Born March 16, 1928 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late George & Emma (Vance) Schafferman. He was a self-employed decorator and custom home painter. Gene is survived by seven daughters: Donna Shore, Jeannie Ziegenhein, Gloria McCoy & husband, Greg, Janet List, Connie Schafferman, Linda List, Gloria Gene Riser; two sons: James Shore & wife, Tina; Robert Schafferman; brother Dave "Bubba" Schafferman; sister Delores Rose and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Gene was predeceased by daughter Sharon Ridge, Sons-in-law: Robert Shore and John Ziegenhein, brother Ray Schafferman and sister Audrey Rose. He loved to dance and was known as "Gene, Gene, the Dancing Machine" and enjoyed horse racing. Funeral Service Saturday, Sept 22, 11 A.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown with Pastor Ken Reed of Mountain Top Ministries, Orrtanna, officiating. Viewing is Friday 5 - 9 P.M. and Saturday 10 - 11 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment is in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown. Pallbearers will be: Robert, Rick and James Shore, Robert Stevenson, Albert Cooper and Scott Rose. Honorary Palllbearers will be Mark, Steven and Mike Rose. Online condolences may be shared
