Eugene T. Bittle, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 75.

Born on December 30, 1950, Eugene was the cherished son of Gloria and Junior T. Bittle. He shared 26 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Sonia Zinn Bittle, whom he married on January 1, 2000.

Eugene was a proud and loving father to Corey T. (Heidi) Bittle and Jennifer E. (Jeff) Brown. Nothing brought him greater joy than being “Pappy” to his grandchildren: Kamryn, Brody, and Grady Bittle, and Alyssa, Addison, and Lucas Brown. He treasured every moment spent with them and took great pride in their lives and accomplishments.

He is also survived by his siblings: James (Gail) Bittle, Linda Bittle, Lana Bittle, Lois Bittle, and Lisa (David) Schmidt, along with many nieces and nephews who will remember his warmth and steady presence.

Eugene enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time on the golf course, cheering on Orioles baseball, traveling the world and, above all, making memories with his grandchildren and family. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love for those closest to him, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met.

Eugene’s legacy of love, family, and devotion will live on in all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
