Emily I Eyler Obituary

Emily I Eyler, 83, of Westminster, died Friday March 9 at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, MD. She was the widow of the late Myrten E. Eyler who died in 1990. Born Nov. 15, 1928 in Rome, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Newell G. and Olive Twitchell Wright. Emily was a graduate of Tacoma Park Academy in Tacoma Park, MD. She retired from Telemecanique of Westminster.   Emily is survived by a son, Myrten J. Eyler & wife, Peggy M., of Bowie, MD and 3 daughters:  Rebecca J. Dutterer & husband, Larry E., of Westminster, Susan V. Owings, & husband, E. Norman, of Hanover and Opal I. Tomaleski & husband, Francis, of Fredericksburg, VA;  11 Grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  Emily was predeceased by a son Gerry R. Eyler,  a sister  Genevieve Link and brothers, Gaylord and Donald Wright.  Emily was a  member of Gettysburg Seventh Day Adventist Church where she was very active and taught Sabbath School.   Funeral Service is Wednesday, March 14, at 11 A.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown with Elder Tyree Berlin officiating.  Viewing is one hour before the service time Wednesday at the funeral home.  Interment is in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.  Memorials in Emily's name may be sent to:  Gettysburg Seventh Day Adventist  Church - 1495 Biglerville Rd., Gettysburg, PA  17325  or American Lung Assoc. - 3001 Gettysburg Rd., Camp Hill, PA  17011.
