Elva G. Kuhns, 96 of Littlestown died Sat. PM Sept 8 at her home. She was the wife of the late Francis D. Kuhns who died Jan 21, 2008. Born April 4, 1916 in Kessel W. Va., she was the daughter of the late Sidney B. and Eura Belle Kessel Halterman.   Elva was a 1934 graduate of Gettysburg High School. She worked for the New Cumberland Army Depot and retired from B.C. Schuchart.   Elva is survived by one son, Kenneth C. Kuhns of Cogan Station PA, 3 daughters, Sandra M. Sneeringer of Littlestown, Linda A. Adams of Clifton Va and Sherry L. Rippman of Gettysburg. 1 Brother, Lorain Delwood of New Oxford. 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by son in laws Robert Rippman and Michael Sneeringer , a sister Clarise Mae Halterman and brothers, John, Harry, Earl, Ralph, Sidney, James and Lawernce Halterman.   There will be a Memorial Service on Friday Sept 14 at 11 AM at Little's Funeral Home with the Rev. James M. Sterner of St. Aloysius Catholic Church officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery.
