Elmer J. Staub Obituary

Elmer J. Staub, 61, of Gettysburg, died Friday, July 6, at Gettysburg Hospital. He was the husband of Deborah J. (Grimes) Staub for 29 years. Born March 7, 1951 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Leroy F. & Lula (Ramsburg) Staub. He had been a chef at Ideal Family Restaurant, formerly of Littlestown. He was a member of McSherrystown Moose.   In addition to his wife, Elmer is survived by two daughters: Kimberly Staub of Glen Rock and Sherry Kreitz of Dillsburg; 5 sons: Thomas E. Staub of Hanover; Michael W. Staub of New Oxford; Richard L. Grimes of TN; Michael W. Sirk of Gettysburg and Jarrett M. Sirk of Indiana, PA; 18 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 brothers: Nevin Staub of SC; William Staub of Frederick and John Staub of Thurmont; and 3 sisters: Becky Gale of OH; Donna Miller of Sharpsburg and Susie Burdett of Westminster. He was predeceased by a grandson, Jeffrey Kreitz.   Funeral Service is Monday, July 9, at 7 P.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown with the Rev. S.A. Garrett of Gates of Praise Worship Center, Littlestown, officiating. Viewing is Monday 5 - 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment is at the convenience of the family.
