Ellen L. Baugher, 84, of Littlestown, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, MD.  She was the loving wife of William H. Baugher who died on September 3, 1999.

Born February 28, 1940 in Mt. Pleasant, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Marion (Rider) Beck.  Ellen was a 1958 Littlestown High School graduate and had been a bookkeeper for Hoffman Pattern of Hanover. 

Surviving are her daughter, Rebecca Ann Baugher of Littlestown; her sons, Kenneth J. Staub & Susan of Clarion, PA; Matthew O. Staub & Stephanie of Germantown, WI and Joseph E. Baugher & Candace of Marysville, PA  and her four grandchildren, Will & Lake Staub and Cara & Hana Staub.  Ellen was predeceased by her sister, Barbara Moose.

Ellen was a member of Redeemer’s UCC, Littletown.  She was a member of the Dr. J.M. Hyson Memorial #106 Order of the Amaranth, Inc., a past officer of Harmony Court, 146, past president of Littlestown Alumni Assoc., a Girl Scout leader, a Sunday School teacher and a volunteer at church.  Ellen also helped at the annual YMCA book sale, the VNA of Hanover and made blankets for Project Linus.

Memorial Service is Friday, Jan 31, at 11 A.M. at Little’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Littlestown, with Interim Pastor Bob MacFarlane officiating.  Visitation is 10 – 11 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be at a later date in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.  Memorial contributions in Ellen’s name may be sent to the charity of one’s choice.
