Elizabeth M. Betty Mae Blizzard, 79, of Littlestown, died Thurs, Dec 4, at the home of her daughter in Littlestown. She was the widow of Elmo H. Blizzard who died Nov 24, 2006. Born May 24, 1935 in Fairfield, she was the daughter of the late Hiot C. & Annie B. (Smith) Snyder. Betty Mae was employed with various factories in the Littlestown area. Surviving are 4 daughters: Christine Woodward & husband, James, of Littlestown; Karen Waltimire of York; Sharon Brindle of Lancaster; Dorothy Stonesifer & husband, Tim, of Hanover; 4 sons: Robert Heistand & wife, Cindy, of Hanover; Terry Heistand of Chambersburg; Joseph Blizzard of Littlestown; Walter LeRoy Blizzard & wife, Peggy, of Littlestown; 22 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and 2 brothers: Joseph R. Snyder of Bassic City, LA and Frederick A. Snyder of Amarillo, TX. Betty Mae was predeceased by a son, Dean Blizzard; 4 sisters: Dorothy Smith, Clara Flickinger, Fannie Putman; Sara Elecker and 4 brothers: Edward, Samuel, Charles & Lewin Snyder. Betty Mae attended Bethel Assembly of God, Littlestown and volunteered at Compassion Ministry Center of the church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and her animals. Memorial Service is Tues at 11 A.M. at Bethel Assembly of God with The Rev. Garry Sheaffer officiating. Inurnment is private in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown.
