E. Hope King, 92, of Littlestown, died Thurs A.M., Sept 19, at Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village. She was the widow of Fred W. King who died July 5, 2007. Born Dec 15, 1920 in Mt. Joy Twp, Adams County, she was the daughter of the late J. Earlington & Sarah (Sachs) Reaver. Hope was a Gettysburg High School graduate and was retired in 1983 from Littlestown Area School District as Cafeteria Manager after 30 years of service. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Janice A. & Clay A. Rebert of Gettysburg; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; twin sister, E. Grace Myers of Hanover and daughter-in-law, Nancy (Crowl) King of Hanover. Hope was predeceased by son, Fred A. King and grandson, Timothy A. King. She was a life member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Littlestown where she was always active and was a former choir member. The social hall kitchen was named in Hope’s honor. Funeral Service is Mon., Sept 23, at 11 A.M. at her church with The Rev. Dr. John G. Largen officiating. Viewing will be Sunday 6 – 8 P.M. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown. There will be no viewing in church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorials in Hope’s name may be made to her church @ 665 St. John’s Rd., Littlestown, PA 17340.
