Dorothy V Warehime Obituary

Dorothy V. Warehime, 88, formerly of Aspers, died Tues., Feb. 26, at Transitions Healthcare, Gettysburg. She was the widow of the late George Truman Warehime who died June 21, 2010. Born Oct 20, 1924 in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin & Anna (Nusbaum) Gist. She was retired from Black & Decker of Hampstead in 1997 after 25 years of service.   Dot is survived by a daughter, Thelma J. Kitzmiller- Middleton of Wellsville; two sons: George E. Warehime of Aspers and Dennis P. Warehime of Biglerville; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; a brother, Kenneth Gist; a sister Margaret Mathias, both of Westminster and a companion, John Forsythe of Aspers. Dot was predeceased by 2 brothers: Benjamin, Jr. and Phillip Gist.   Funeral Service is Saturday, March 2, at 10 A.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown with The Rev. Kenneth R.W. Reid of Mountain Top Ministries, officiating. Viewings are Friday 6 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home and one hour prior to service time Saturday. Interment is in John Luther Miller Cemetery, Westminster.
