Doris M. Eckard, 94, of Frederick, MD and formerly of Littlestown, PA, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Frederick Crossing.  She was the loving wife of the late Ralph J. Eckard who passed away November 3, 2010.

Born November 7, 1930 in Taneytown, MD, she was the daughter of the late William K. and Hilda M. (Zepp) Flickinger.

Mrs. Eckard was the food service manager for Carroll County Public Schools and attended First Baptist Church, Littlestown.

She is survived by her son Robert Eckard and wife Kim, Union Bridge, MD; daughter, Mary Creed, Walkersville, MD; sister, Jean Berwager, Taneytown, MD; granddaughter, Kristen Hertsch (Gary), Taneytown, MD; grandson, R. Michael Eckard (Tiffany), New Windsor, MD and great grandchildren, Garrett Hertsch, Kaylin Hertsch and Damian Eckard.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, W. Robert Flickinger.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 27, 2025 at 2 PM at First Baptist Church, 5015 Baltimore Pike, Littlestown with Pastor Gary R. Bowers officiating.  A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Friday from 1 PM until the start of the service at the church.  Burial will be in Uniontown Church of God Cemetery, Uniontown, MD.
