Mrs. Doreen J. (Javery) Ryan, 88, died Monday evening, Sept 7, at the Brethren Home Community.  She was the wife of the late William F. “Bill” Ryan for over 60 years.  Born January 10, 1927 in Proctor, VT, Doreen was the daughter of the late Arthur and Henrietta Javery.  She grew up in Norwalk, CT and was a 1944 graduate of Norwalk High School.  Doreen and Bill were married Aug 4, 1947.  They moved to Redding, CT in 1967.  Doreen worked for both the Merchants Bank & Trust Company and the Fairfield County Savings Bank.  Bill and Doreen retired in Venice, FL in 1988 before relocating to PA in 2008.  Doreen was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church of Littlestown, PA.   Surviving is her son, Kevin Ryan of Gettysburg, PA and her four daughters, Patricia Eyes of Palm Coast, FL,  Sharon Marks of Sarasota, FL,  Eileen Kaeser of Highwood, IL and Maureen Watson of Allen, TX, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and her sister, Catherine Friend of Dennis, MA.   Mass of Christian Burial for her family at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Littlestown, on Thursday at 11 A.M. with The Rev. James M. Sterner as Celebrant.  Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery.  The family request memorial contributions in lieu of flowers be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Rd., Bethesda, MD  20814.  Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.
