David E. Zabel, 75, of Littlestown, died Wed., Dec 24 at his home. He was the husband of Joan (Stamm) Zabel for 49 years.  Born May 4, 1939 in Baltimore City, he was the son of the late Ervin L. & Elsie M. (League) Zabel. David was a Polytech graduate of Baltimore and a John Hopkins University grad. He was Human Resource Manager for Adams County.   Surviving in addition to his wife are 3 sons:  David E. Zabel of Littlestown; Daniel E. Zabel of Littlestown; D. Eric Zabel of Germantown, MD; a daughter, Deborah E. Barnes of Hanover and 4 grandchildren.  David attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Littlestown. He enjoyed history, reading and model trains.   Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
