Darlene L. Rickrode passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 18, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ervin W. “Dick” Rickrode and the loving daughter of the late William W. Menchey and Mary Small.

Darlene is survived by her devoted children, Mary Rickrode and Perry, and Dave Rickrode and his wife Lynn. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Jenna Bowers and her husband Jordon, and Mercedee Mehring and her husband Jeremy. Darlene also cherished her great-grandchildren, Noah, Atleigh, Jax, and Parker.

She is also survived by her sister, Kathy Laughman, and her brother, Dave Menchey.

In addition to her husband and parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Joe, Mike, Rob, Jim, and Bill Menchey.

Darlene will be remembered for her love of family, kindness, and the many memories shared with those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.

A Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 4, 2026  in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown, PA.
