Darlene J. (Jones) Burton, 74, of Fairfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Gettysburg Hospital. She was the loving companion of Stephen Bialecki, with whom she shared many cherished years.

Born on December 5, 1951, in Towson, Maryland, Darlene was the daughter of the late Roy V. and Bertha L. Jones.

Darlene will be lovingly remembered by her companion, Stephen Bialecki; her children, William Clayton Ward and his wife, Jennifer, Christine Turner and her husband, Robert, Candy Stanley and her husband David, and Sherri E. George; her siblings, Roy Jones, Jr., Wayne Jones, Danny Jones, Eddie Jones, Garry Jones, Janie Jones, and Theresa Jones; as well as many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends whose lives she touched throughout the years.

In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Jones.

There will be no public viewing. Following cremations, a graveside service celebrating Darlene's life will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown, Pennsylvania, with Pastor Kevin R. Wartluft officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
