Daniel L Belter Obituary

Daniel Lee “Danny” Belter, 51, formerly of Damascus, MD died Wed., Oct 2, at his home in Littlestown, PA.  Born Sept 15, 1962 in Olney, MD, he attended Damascus High School.  He loved heavy metal music, gambling in Atlantic City, NJ, playing chess and was an Eagles fan and former tow truck driver.   Danny is survived by his mother, Laura Lea (Waters) Norwood & Step-father, Paul E. Norwood of Littlestown; his father Ernest H. Belter, Jr. of Shippensburg; Sister Theresa (Belter) Wetherson; 3 nephews:  Ronald, Christopher & Matthew Wetherson and God Mother, Nancy Dryden.   Danny was predeceased by his grandparents:  Ernest & Elsie Belter, Thomas C., Jr. & Mildred E. Waters and Uncle, William W. Waters.   Special thanks to his extended family at ReMed Recovery Care Centers.  Their love and support over the years will be remembered always.   A Memorial Service will be held 11 A.M., Thurs., Oct 10, at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown with Pastor Andrew Porter officiating.   In lieu of flowers, memorials in Danny’s name may be made to:  Council on Brain Injury, 16 Industrial Blvd, Suite 203, Paoli, PA  19301.
