Carlean H. Mayers, 86, formerly of Littlestown, died Monday, March 4, at Village of Lauren Run, Fayetteville. She was the widow of Paul C. Mayers who died Feb 26, 1996. Born Oct 31, 1926 in Hanover, Carlean was the daughter of the late Raymond L. & Helen E. (Bollinger) Trone. She was a 1944 Eichelberger High School graduate and Director of Food Services at Littlestown High School retiring in 1988. Carlean is survived by 2 daughters: Susan E. Ambrose & husband, Stephen of York; Jane L. Myers & fiance, Gary Toner of Spring Grove; a son, Wayne L. Mayers and wife, Kimberly of Gettysburg; 5 grandsons and 4 great granddaughters. Carlean was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Littlestown; a Meals-on-Wheels and Food Pantry volunteer, both of Littlestown and a Gettysburg Hospital Aux. member volunteering at the Thrift Shop. Funeral Service is Fri., March 8, at 11 A.M. at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown with her pastor, The Rev. Sandra R. Mackie officiating. Viewing is one hour prior to service time.
