Arthur A. Capella, 94 of Chambersburg died Saturday April 21 at Penn Hall Nursing Center in Chambersburg. He was the husband of Clara Clark Capella of Chambersburg for 72 yrs. Born Jan 9, 1918 in New York City, he was the son of the late Virginio and Alinda Gilone Capella. Arthur was a graduate of Evander Childs High School in NYC and attended a textile school and worked in the textile industry before joining S. Alexander & Company in NYC as a clerk and working his way to CEO/ owner. He retired at age 65 and spent over 10 years in Hilton Head , S.C.. He was a member of the New York State Guard during WWII. He was a member of a sporting club, Fur, Fin and Feathers. He served in various leadership positions in the New York State Truckers Association.   Besides his wife, Arthur is survived by 2 daughters, Virginia L. Oneto and husband Paul of Chambersburg, Linda L. LaBarre and husband James of Chambersburg and a son, Frederick C. Capella and wife Barbara of Woodstock, MD. Nine Grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.   Funeral Services will be Wed. April 25 at 11 AM at Little's Funeral Home, 34 Maple Ave. Littlestown with the Rev. Sandra R. Mackie of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Littlestown officiating. There will be a time to view on Tues. from 6-8 at little's Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
